This expertise is based on the principle of “établissage,” which means that each stage of the creation of a watch is controlled internally, as well as the assembly of its various components. This choice reflects the strong principles of the Maison and guarantees the highest quality. This tradition of excellence at Baume & Mercier is based on the design and development of its products at the Maison’s headquarters in Geneva, and the “établissage” process carried out in its workshops in the Swiss Jura, in Les Brenets. This means that the production of watches is centralized in Switzerland.
