What inspired Jaeger-LeCoultre’s watchmakers to conceive the Atmos watch in 1928? How did they think of using temperature changes to make it work? The Atmos watch continues to surprise the public with its inventiveness. The limited edition of the Atmos watch lives from the air of the times. Inside a hermetically sealed capsule, there is a mixture of gases that expand and contract as the temperature fluctuates. Therefore, the clock mechanism works automatically and does not require human intervention.
