Grand Seiko Evolution 9 Spring Drive UFA SLGB006G watch. The jet black dial features countless gold-colored specks made by a unique coating technique. Their effect on the dial evokes a solar pillar, a phenomenon that can be observed on winter mornings when the emerging sunlight reflects off the ice crystals suspended in the air to create the illusion of a towering pillar of light. The Spring Drive U.F.A. 9RB2 caliber, which provides an annual accuracy of ±20 seconds, drives this limited edition creation. Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, the bridge of the movement is decorated with a finish inspired by the frost that winter brings to the trees of Shinshu. Like the dial, it captures the ethereal beauty of a Japanese winter.
